Trupa italiană Måneskin, câştigătoare a concursului Eurovision 2021, va cânta în deschiderea concertului formaţiei britanice The Rolling Stones din Las Vegas, pe 6 noiembrie, a anunţat Jimmy Fallon în emisiunea sa.
Solistul Damiano şi grupul său au cântat deja miercuri seară la New York şi urmează să concerteze pe 1 noiembrie la Los Angeles.
Apariţia la cunoscuta emisiune „Tonight Show” a lui Jimmy Fallon este prima a italienilor la televiziunea americană.
Grupul rock Måneskin a câştigat concursul Eurovision 2021 cu piesa „Zitti e buoni”. Melodia a ajuns după concurs cel mai sus pe locul 17 în topul single-urilor din Marea Britanie. În iunie, o altă piesă a formaţiei, „I Wanna Be Your Slave”, s-a clasat pe poziţia a şaptea.
În contextul în care multe ţări iau măsuri de izolare a populaţiei ca să oprească răspândirea noului virus, actriţa Gal Gadot, cunoscută din „Wonder Woman”, a reunit zeci de celebrităţi de la Hollywood pentru un videoclip în care cântă melodia „Imagine” compusă de John Lennon.
Natalie Portman, Zoë Kravitz, Will Ferrell, James Marsden, Sia, Amy Adams, Mark Ruffalo sau Cara Delevingne, toţi i-au trimis videoclipuri în care interpretează melodia din 1971, iar înregistrările au fost montate într-un clip de trei minute.
„A şasea zi de auto-izolare şi trebuie să spun că aceste ultime zile m-au făcut să reflectez într-un fel mai filosofic”, a explicat Gadot. „Acest virus a infectat lumea întreagă. Nu contează cine eşti, de unde vii, suntem toţi împreună în asta”.

Rami Malek stopped by The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon on Monday (Oct. 29) to detail his amazing transformation into Queen’s frontman Freddie Mercury for Bohemian Rhapsody.
First, despite being disappointed with the end of his breakout series Mr. Robot, Malek is thankful for the many opportunities it brought – including the leading role in the Queen biopic. “And you got an Emmy for that as well,” host Jimmy Fallon reminded him.
Praising the performance, Fallon emphasized how unbelievably accurate Malek’s reinterpretation of Mercury was, from personality to looks and manners. “I had these teeth that I wear and the first time I put them in my mouth I felt incredibly insecure,” Malek shared of the transformation, later adding, „Then I found myself compensating, sitting straight, more elegant. You really start to think…these are the reasons why he is who he is.”

Malek also shared how the iconic 1985 Live Aid concert was the first scene the producers wanted to shoot, intimidating him considering how legendary the rock performance was: “When I got the call for day two, it was like winning an Oscar.”
„I told them, ‘Listen, guys, I’m not going to be the Hollywood actor that sells myself here – I don’t play the piano, I don’t think I’m a singer, I have a very unusual way of dancing and that’s the closest I can get to Freddie Mercury.’ I think they thought, here’s a humble actor for once,” he shared, laughing.
After the chat, the duo played a funny game of “A-to-Z” where they put their music knowledge to the test by taking turns on a conversation about their favorite bands in alphabetical order.
